The catch

Deposit Boost is the current name of the Admirals 100% welcome bonus, run by Admirals SC Ltd (Seychelles FSA license SD073) for clients outside the UK, the EU and the EEA. It adds bonus credit equal to your deposit, from a $25 minimum deposit up to $5,000 of credit, on Trade.MT5 and Zero.MT5 accounts only; MT4 accounts no longer qualify.
The credit adds free margin, so it lets you open larger positions. It is not part of your balance and cannot be used to cover losses. The catch is the conversion rate. The headline "up to $5,000" is the cap, not what you keep.
Credit only moves into withdrawable balance at $25 for every $1,000,000 of notional volume traded, and converted amounts are paid out every Saturday. Releasing a $1,000 credit therefore needs roughly $40,000,000 in notional turnover, and the full $5,000 cap needs about $200,000,000.
The official page does not publish the exact notional formula, so treat these figures as estimates. You have 180 days from activation, and any credit not converted by then is forfeited. Withdrawals are allowed, but if your remaining balance falls below the bonus amount, the bonus on that account is removed.
