ThinkMarkets runs a refer-a-friend program where both you (the Referrer) and the person you invite (the Friend) receive $15 credited to your trading accounts. This is the live offer verified on the official page: an earlier, better-known version paid $50 per side, but its own terms expired in October 2024 and the program relaunched at the lower figure, so treat any site still quoting $50 as outdated.
To qualify, the Referrer needs a live trading account, a deposit of at least $50 (or currency equivalent) and trades of at least $200,000 notional value. The Friend must open a live account through the referral link, deposit at least $50, and place at least one round-turn trade of $200,000 exposure within 30 days of applying.
The two official sources disagree on the trading bar: the website says $200,000 notional, while the linked terms PDF says closed trades with $100,000 of underlying exposure, held open at least 5 minutes, on FX, metals, commodities or indices.
Plan for the higher website figure. Payouts are tracked under Referral Activity in ThinkPortal, and the terms say payments reach each trading account within 3 business days of becoming due. The terms also say the funds can be used for trading and/or withdrawn, so the $15 is not locked as bonus credit.
Referrals are capped at 20 in any 30-day period; ThinkMarkets points heavier referrers to its Introducing Broker program. The current terms cover retail clients of the TF Global Markets Int Limited entity, exclude only clients from Vietnam and Indonesia, and set a promotional period that runs until 31 December 2026, though ThinkMarkets can amend or end the promotion at any time. The long country list in older write-ups came from the expired 2024 terms.
