InstaForex is an offshore forex and CFD broker registered in the British Virgin Islands, heavily focused on promotions and well known across the CIS, Asia and Africa. Its current headline offer is a 30% bonus on every deposit, while its long-running 55% deposit bonus is paused. Its bonuses are aggressive on paper, so the turnover and withdrawal conditions are the part that matters. As an offshore broker with no tier-1 oversight, it carries elevated counterparty risk.

Company background

InstaForex is a retail forex and CFD brand created in 2007 under the InstaFintech Group. The main operating entity is Instant Trading Ltd, registered in the British Virgin Islands and licensed by the BVI Financial Services Commission under license SIBA/L/14/1082. A separate entity, Instant Trading EU Ltd, is a Cyprus Investment Firm regulated by CySEC under license 266/15, serving clients through instaforex.eu. A third entity is registered in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

The BVI entity is the one most InstaForex clients sign up under, and BVI FSC oversight is offshore-tier: it licenses the business but does not backstop client funds the way a tier-1 regulator does. Traders who want EU-level protections such as investor compensation schemes need to specifically use the Instant Trading EU onboarding, not the default instaforex.com signup.

Trading offer

InstaForex offers forex, CFDs on commodities, indices and stocks, and cryptocurrencies. Trading runs on MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5, plus a proprietary web platform, with desktop, web and mobile access.

The account lineup is Insta.Standard, Insta.Eurica, Cent.Standard and Cent.Eurica. Standard accounts trade in normal lots with spreads from around 3 pips and no commission; Eurica accounts run tighter spreads with a small per-trade commission instead. Cent accounts let a $1 minimum deposit go a long way because balances and lot sizes are denominated in cents. Leverage runs up to 1:1000 on standard live accounts, and the 30% welcome bonus page lists the same 1:1000 maximum.

The bonus menu

InstaForex is built around promotions more than most brokers in this directory. Its recurring campaigns include a 30% welcome bonus credited on every deposit (not just the first) with no upper limit, a 55% deposit bonus that is currently paused, no-deposit bonuses of a few dollars for new sign-ups, larger multiplier-style campaigns by region, and an InstaForex Club loyalty scheme that pays extra bonus points per deposit and can lift the welcome bonus from 30% to 40%. On top of that, InstaForex runs frequent trading contests with an annual prize pool the company advertises at over $500,000.

The 30% welcome bonus is representative of how the terms actually work. Profits made while trading with the bonus can be withdrawn without restriction. The bonus principal itself is a different story: to withdraw it, a trader has to trade three times the total bonus received in InstaForex lots, and one InstaForex lot is a tenth of a standard lot. On a $300 bonus that works out to 900 InstaForex lots, or 90 standard lots, about $9 million of EURUSD notional, a volume most retail accounts will not reach. The paused 55% bonus was steeper, at six times the bonus in InstaForex lots, and could hold back part of the profit until the bonus was worked out. The no-deposit bonus is stricter still, requiring 25 times the bonus amount in lots before it can be withdrawn, with profit released only once it exceeds 20% of the bonus. In every case the bonus can only be withdrawn in full, never partially.

Cancellation clauses and verification

InstaForex's bonus agreements give the company broad, largely one-sided rights to cancel a bonus. If a trader withdraws funds from the account before the turnover requirement is met, the bonus (and, on the no-deposit bonus, an extra 20% penalty on top) is forfeited automatically. The company also reserves the right to cancel any bonus without prior notice if it suspects abuse of the promotion, and to claw back trading profit by an amount equal to the bonus if it finds signs of bonus-program abuse. InstaForex's own no-deposit bonus agreement acknowledges roughly a 10% rate of bonuses being cancelled in error, which is an unusually candid admission for a broker to put in writing.

Profit withdrawal is gated behind full account verification: a government ID plus a photo of the trader holding that ID. Personal details such as name and country cannot be changed after a bonus is credited.

Practical notes

Read as free money, InstaForex's bonuses are misleading. Read as extra margin that lets profitable trades run longer before a margin call, the 30% welcome bonus and similar deposit bonuses are real and usable, since the profit generated is withdrawable on a verified account. The bonus principal itself should be treated as effectively locked for most retail trading volumes. The no-deposit offers are weaker still: turnover requirements are higher and the amounts on offer are small in absolute dollar terms.

InstaForex's regulatory footprint is mixed. The BVI FSC license covers the entity most new sign-ups land on and is offshore-tier oversight, without the kind of investor compensation fund that limits trader losses if a broker fails. Traders in the EU can ask for onboarding under Instant Trading EU Ltd's CySEC license instead, which brings MiFID-style protections but is a separate, opt-in signup path, not the default.

Pros

  • +The 30% welcome bonus applies to every deposit, not only the first, with no upper limit
  • +Very low minimum deposit ($1) with cent accounts for small-balance practice
  • +Profits earned using bonus funds are withdrawable once the account is verified
  • +Wide asset range across forex, commodities, indices, stocks and crypto CFDs on MT4 and MT5
  • +Frequent trading contests add prize opportunities beyond deposit bonuses

Cons

  • −Bonus principal requires heavy turnover (90 standard lots to release a $300 welcome bonus), more than most retail traders will reach
  • −Withdrawing funds before turnover is met forfeits the bonus, plus a 20% penalty on the no-deposit bonus
  • −The company can cancel any bonus without notice on suspected abuse, and admits roughly 10% of cancellations are erroneous
  • −The default sign-up entity (BVI) carries offshore-tier oversight, not CySEC-level protection
  • −Bonuses can only be withdrawn in full, never partially

Frequently asked questions

Is InstaForex regulated?

Yes, but the level of oversight depends on which entity you sign up with. Instant Trading Ltd is licensed by the BVI Financial Services Commission (SIBA/L/14/1082), which is offshore-tier regulation. Instant Trading EU Ltd is separately regulated by CySEC (266/15) and is available to traders who onboard specifically through instaforex.eu.

Is the InstaForex 55% deposit bonus still available?

It is paused. As of September 2026 the 55% bonus no longer appears on InstaForex's main bonuses page and its old landing page redirects there, so check with support before depositing for it. The active offer is a 30% welcome bonus on every deposit with no upper limit. Profit made with it can be withdrawn without restriction, but the bonus principal becomes withdrawable only after trading three times the total bonus received in InstaForex lots, each a tenth of a standard lot.

Why did InstaForex cancel my bonus?

InstaForex's bonus agreements let the company cancel a bonus without prior notice if it suspects abuse of the promotion, and any withdrawal of funds before the turnover requirement is met triggers automatic forfeiture (plus a 20% penalty on the no-deposit bonus). InstaForex's own agreement states that around 10% of cancellations happen in error, so a legitimate account can occasionally be caught by the same rule.

What account types does InstaForex offer?

Four main types: Insta.Standard and Insta.Eurica for standard-lot trading, and Cent.Standard and Cent.Eurica, which use cent-denominated balances so a small deposit can be spread across more trades. Eurica accounts trade with tighter spreads plus a small commission; Standard accounts use wider spreads with no commission.

What is the minimum deposit at InstaForex?

As low as $1, thanks to the cent account options. Leverage on standard live accounts can run up to 1:1000, and the 30% welcome bonus page lists the same maximum.

Can I withdraw an InstaForex bonus early?

No. InstaForex's bonuses can only be withdrawn in full once the turnover requirement is met, never partially, and withdrawing other funds from the account before that point cancels the bonus outright.
