There is still no domestic licensing regime for retail forex or CFD brokers, which the CNV itself has described as a regulatory gap, so the offers reaching Argentines come from brokers regulated abroad. There is no rule banning broker bonuses in Argentina, and no prohibition on individuals using foreign brokers. The standard international promotions, deposit matches, no-deposit credit and rebates, are available to Argentine residents through brokers' global entities, subject to each offer's own country list.
The practical story is about moving money. From 2019 to 2025 the cepo capped individual dollar purchases and pushed traders toward crypto and card workarounds. Since April 2025 individuals can buy foreign currency without the old monthly cap, and transfers abroad are materially freer, though the rules have kept changing and it is worth confirming the current state with your bank before planning a deposit. Many traders still fund accounts via crypto rails out of habit and convenience.
Beyond funding, the usual open-market checks apply. The CNV cannot help you in a dispute with an offshore broker, so the value of any bonus depends on the foreign licence behind the entity that holds your account.
